POSITION SUMMARY

This position supports the Marketing and Community Engagement team and is responsible for project managing the full lifecycle of interactive marketing and community engagement projects. This position coordinates people, processes, and technology, to enable efficient, effective, and organized upstream and downstream workflows. This position works to ensure the Marketing and Community Engagement team is meeting the scope of the project by setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, monitoring, and summarizing progress of each project, including overseeing, tracking, and monitoring short-term and long-term activations with status reports for upper management. For external stakeholders, the project manager position will engage and coordinate managing community expectations for activities and events by providing updates on the project.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution in Marketing or a related field, or an equivalent of directly related full-time work experience to successfully perform the essential duties of the job
  • Agency or corporate team experience in marketing and project management for B2B and/or B2C organizations
  • Hands-on experience in defining scope of work with clients, writing creative briefs, summarizing projects succinctly, data analysis and reporting
  • Ability to perform a variety of assignments requiring considerable exercise of independent judgement
  • Valid AZ driver's license

POSITION REPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL

Project Management Duties Include:

  • Responsible for defining scope of work with the client, planning the workload for marketing team, and quality assurance based on fundamental project management practices.
  • Ability to understand business requirements and ability to work well both independently and in a team environment.
  • Assist stakeholders in defining the project scope and goals.
  • Managing the end-to-end project lifecycle.
  • Write creative briefs - based on intake form requests and any follow-up with client for additional details on the project to help the designer and copywriter develop the creative.
  • Manage client review and consolidate feedback into a concise deliverable to help the creative team be effective in their final deliverable.
  • Work with the department Director to prioritize project requests and ensure deadlines are met.

Operational Management Duties Include:

  • Demonstrating excellent leadership skills and ability to influence and motivate others.
  • Bringing innovation and new ideas to existing project management processes.
  • Managing the project calendar, which reflects all approved projects, what collateral is being developed, and any pre-design work.
  • Managing and updating the promo/traffic calendar for the web.
  • Managing editorial/content calendar to ensure the team is developing messaging that is relevant to organizations needs.

Production Support Includes:

  • Obtaining printing quotes.
  • Coordinating and proofing printing.

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:

  • Principles, practices, and application of design elements and concepts.
  • Principles, practices, and techniques of typography and page layout.
  • Traffic and scheduling of ads, messaging, web programming.
  • Record retention practices and methods.
  • Proofreading and editing standards.
  • Current industry trends, research, and emerging technologies.
  • Experience implementing and executing multiple projects.
  • Experience with events, event planning, exhibitions, multi-media, and audio visual.
  • Basic principles and practices of project management.
  • Filing and record-keeping principles.

SKILLS IN:

  • Marketing project management tools like: Co-Schedule, Asana, Wrike, Clarizen, Basecamp, Hive.
  • Providing attention to detail in assignments, including proof-reading and error correction.
  • Maintaining and updating documentation.
  • Organizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and prioritizing competing demands.
  • Operating assigned tools and equipment.
  • Interpreting and applying applicable laws, codes, regulations, and standards (based on assignment).
  • Familiar in using PowerPoint and other MS Suite of tools including a high level of comfort and ability to create pivot tables, basic formulas, and drop-down lists using Excel.
  • Utilizing communication and interpersonal skills as applied to interactions with coworkers, supervisors, the general public and others, to sufficiently exchange or convey information and to receive work direction.

  • This position is an in-person role based out of Adelantes Center Support Office in Midtown Phoenix (Corporate Office).

Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time when traveling to various clinic sites. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The employee may be subject to health hazards (contagious diseases, blood borne pathogens, etc.) when working in the clinic area.
