Adelantes Corporate Communications Manager is responsible for implementing the strategic initiatives aimed at improving overall organizational communication across Adelante. Efforts include internal brand messaging development and management to increase transparency, execution and project management of internal employee engagement and transformational initiatives, and other special projects as assigned. Collaborate with departments on the development of their communication plans and efforts.

  • 5+ years of internal communications and change management experience, including proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Business, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, Psychology, or equivalent
  • Strategic and creative problem solver who generates ideas and plans, and effectively crosses the finish line
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to communicate information to multiple audiences and facilitate routine and accelerated work requests with suppliers and manage internal corporate expectations.
  • Ability to quickly grasp and synthesize complex issues
  • Substantial project management and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize, set expectations and change direction quickly according to fast-evolving business needs
  • Experience managing intranet and email marketing platforms
  • Entrepreneurial self-starter who can lead through ambiguity
  • Passionate, positive, self-starter who enjoys working in a cross-functional team environment
  • Strong knowledge of MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel, SharePoint and enterprise management tools, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop.
  • Knowledge of email content tools like Constant Contact, Emma, or other similar.
  • Strong organization and time management skills that enable the employee to prioritize and manage a high volume of detailed work with conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong work ethic must be creative, self-motivated, and able to take the initiative when juggling a variety of projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated experience within marketing teams, with a "roll up the sleeves and get it done" approach. Must be able to work quickly under pressure and deadlines. + Proven experience in working with senior-level executives and within a marketing team

  • Develop and facilitate the delivery of effective communication the Executive Leadership team and across the organization
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to support key initiatives

  • Develop and execute internal communications campaigns that align with Adelante Healthcare business, values, and culture priorities.
  • Transform complex concepts into terms everyone can understand.
  • Develop, design, and distribute monthly employee newsletter/podcast Adelante Advocate
  • Act as managing editor for the company intranet, which includes regular site maintenance and content review in coordination with department heads/content owners.
  • Provide strategic support for company events and initiatives (e.g., fund development events, town halls, employee appreciation etc.)
  • Develop and implement metrics to assess the effectiveness and business impact of the internal communications
  • Build successful relationships across the organization to affect change, identify communications gaps and provide an integrated communications approach across Adelante.
  • Ensure branding consistency across all internal communication channels
  • In collaboration with department leads, devise a robust internal communications calendar of activities and announcements.
  • Support the rollout and adoption of new collaboration and communication tools.
  • Proactively source compelling employee stories and create engaging content to be used across multiple platforms.
  • Manage communications calendars and vehicles.
  • Look for ways to continuously improve internal communications methods and channels to maximize employee engagement.
  • Champion collaboration through transparency and accountability

Work environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time when traveling to various clinic sites. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The employee may be subject to health hazards (contagious diseases, blood borne pathogens, etc.) when working in the clinic area.
