POSITION SUMMARY

The BH Provider Workforce Analyst will be responsible for the coordination of provider time off, schedule changes, and timecards (as assigned). The BH Provider Workforce Analyst will interact directly with all levels of employees. This position will be responsible for supporting providers and operations with initiatives, projects, and interventions focused on ensuring accurate time and attendance reporting of our provider team. The analyst will partner with teams and leadership to develop and ensure the effective and consistent implementation of workforce reporting strategies across the facilities. The BH Provider Workforce Analyst will analyze provider scheduling requests and needs to identify, prioritize, plan, forecast, and oversee improvement and coordination efforts.

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of service excellence/customer service principles and practices
  • Must have excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills to effectively interact and provide assistance.
  • Has full command (verbal and written) of the English language.
  • Must be able to maintain composure and professional demeanor in difficult and stressful situations.
  • Strong working knowledge of process improvement, teambuilding, customer relations, and project development
  • Skilled in analytical reasoning and problem solving to facilitate the communication network between operations and providers.
  • Must be able to maintain continuous communication with involved parties to ensure information is up to date.
  • Establish a positive, integrated working relationship with Adelante provider staff and work cooperatively with all other team members.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and manage time effectively.
  • Certification to perform cardiopulmonary Resuscitation for the Health Care Professional (CPR) and AED through courses that follow the guidelines from the American Heart Association and the Red Cross (cognitive and skills evaluations)
  • Valid Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety for all specialty behavioral health locations or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment
  • Prioritization and multi-tasking skills are required
  • Competency in working with people of various cultures
  • Ability to perform a variety of assignments requiring considerable exercise of independent judgment

 

 

 

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain the Scheduling/Time and Attendance in HRIS and implement all changes/updates to timecards and schedules.
  • Collaborate with the BH Director, BH Operations Manager, and BH Managers in assessing time off requests for providers.
  • Assess provider coverage gaps and make suggestions for schedules to support patient access to care for optimal coverage and efficiency.
  • Analyze provider workforce data, productivity, scheduling, and patient load to support quality improvement efforts.
  • Work closely with Quality, PS, and Clinical teams to ensure workforce strategies align with clinical outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement projects, including RCAs and CAP, based on workforce-related performance gaps.
  • Coordinates coverage needs due to absences.
  • Edits and approves all behavioral health provider timecards (as assigned).
  • Facilitates all time-off requests for behavioral health providers.
  • Assists in the management of provider FMLA coding on timecards.
  • Adjust schedules in the system to match time off requests
  • Attend and participate in intra-departmental meetings as needed.
  • Collaborate and act as a resource to other departments as needed.
  • Works with and collaborates with cross-functional groups on project-related tasks as support.
  • Analyze and report current and historical data as well as trends.
  • Creates and manages reports needed.
  • Acts as primary contact for provider scheduling
  • Other projects and duties as assigned

  • Bilingual English/Spanish

Work environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time when traveling to various clinic sites.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The employee may be subject to health hazards (contagious diseases, bloodborne pathogens, etc.) when working in the clinic area.
