Ensures all processes are controlled and monitored for quality and compliance in collaboration with the Quality, Compliance, Safety and Clinical Risk, Operations, and Training departments. This position is responsible for implementing quality assurance, quality improvement, safety, and compliance programs to meet state and federal requirements.

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a health care setting
  • Experience with vaccine management and administration
  • Experience with Vaccine program; Arizona State requirements
  • Experience working with NexGen or electronic health record; navigating the system for data entry and chart auditing
  • Knowledge of regulatory agency requirements including Joint Commission, HRSA, and AZDHS
  • Ability to critically analyze safety situations and respond accordingly
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, privacy, and security of protected information
  • Ability to draft analytic reports integrating multiple data elements and perspectives
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint
  • Knowledge of SBAR, CQI, RCA, ACA, and PDSA methodology
  • Travel to health centers and community event locations
  • Certification to perform cardiopulmonary Resuscitation for the Health Care Professional (CPR) and AED through courses that follow the guidelines from the American Heart Association and Red Cross (cognitive and skills evaluations)
  • Valid Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety for all specialty behavioral health locations
  • High School Diploma
  • Registered Medical Assistant, current
  • Works independently under the guidance of Safety and Clinical Risk Manager



  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Meet the organizations immunization requirements
  • Valid Arizona drivers license and automobile insurance

  • Stay current with regulatory agency requirements
  • Responsible for creating, reviewing, and revising tracers in the electronic system
  • Plan, organize, schedule, and lead all Tracers for the Community Health Team
  • Review Tracer findings with the Community Health Team, Safety and Clinical Risk Manager and provide guidance on solutions to findings
  • Provide education on vaccine management and administration, tracer findings and other healthcare and safety related topics as needed
  • Working with the Safety and Clinical Risk Manager to create and implement Action Plans
  • Create analytic reports and present data at weekly, monthly, and quarterly meetings
  • Complete NAHQ introductory course with first 3 months of employment
  • Collaborates with Operations Managers, Compliance, and Safety and Clinical Risk to complete quarterly risk assessments to improve patient care and services.
  • Other projects as requested by the Safety and Clinical Risk Manager.

Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.


Work environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time when traveling to various clinic sites. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The employee may be subject to health hazards (contagious diseases, bloodborne pathogens, etc.) when working in the clinic area.
